The Client
Wired Sussex is a Brighton-based membership organisation for companies and freelancers operating in the digital, media and technology sector in Sussex, UK. They work alongside over 2800 organisations and freelancers to help their members to create, innovate and grow. In addition to hosting networking events, training and professional development, Wired Sussex also connects individuals through jobs boards, shared workspaces and local networks.
The Brief
Wired Sussex wanted to create a warm welcome for their members with a defined reception area. In addition to this, they wanted to provide comfortable ergonomic seating for their team and flexible workspaces for meetings and events.
Our Approach
We wanted to present a cost effective and long lasting solution for Wired Sussex. After trialing a selection of task chairs for a week, the Viasit DrumBack chair was unanimously chosen. Winner of the ‘Green Product Award 2017‘, the DrumBack is a firm favourite of ours due to its dynamic backrest and responsibly sourced materials.
For the reception space we chose a modern and compact modular reception unit from French Manufacturer Buronomic. Sat next to their impressive industrial doors, this welcoming space compliments and defines the reception area without wasting any space.
To suite in with the reception area, we also used Buronomic flip top tables on castors to make workspaces that can be packed away easily when not in use. Paired with their existing folding chairs, this solution allowed Wired Sussex to have the flexibility they needed for their networking and meeting spaces.
