Health & Care Professions Council

The Client

The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)  is a regulator that was set up to protect the public by keeping a register of health and care professionals. This register ensures that standards are upheld by health and care professional including training, professional skills, behaviour and health.

The Brief

The Health and Care Professions Council desired a modern, professional and functional space. The interior architecture of the recent refurbishment of their offices focused on clean lines. We wanted to carry this theme throughout the furniture, whilst ensuring that it was durable for high capacity areas.

The reception needed to be eye catching and at the same time practical. Due to the high traffic they receive on a daily basis, we needed to make sure that every last detail was substantial enough to support this long term.

Our Approach

The Health and Care Professions Council required a varied cross section of furniture for different environments.

For the visitor and staff breakout area, we used the Karma tub armchairs paired with contemporary Ad-lib coffee tables.

To ensure maximum flexibility, we recommended the Herman Miller Everywhere flip top tables with the Aeron Cantilever chair. To carry this through into the office space, we specified the Jigsaw desk range with matching under desk pedestals for storage. We paired these desks with sleek and highly adaptable Axia office task chairs.
