The Client
The Chilli Pickle is a family run Brighton based Indian restaurant. Having won the Best Takeaway in Britain at ‘The British Curry Awards’ for the last four years (and as regular customers we say rightly so), The Chilli Pickle decided to expand with a new site in Guildford. We worked alongside Stickland Wright Architecture & Interiors to deliver the furniture for their new site.
The Brief
Stickland Wright is a collaborative Architecture and Interior Design studio based in Brighton. A multi-disciplined practise, they have a wide array of commercial projects under their belt including but not limited to restaurants, resorts, community centres and schools.
They have worked alongside The Chilli Pickle brand for over a decade to create a dining experience that is evocative of the vibrant sensory experience of Indian street food. They asked us on board to supply the furniture to suit their striking design.
The Approach
To compliment Stickland Wright’s design, we supplied the ‘All Plastic Vitra‘ chair. Although it’s manufactured from rigid high-strength polypropylene, this chair has a gentle flex on the seat and back making it extremely comfortable, and perfectly suited to hospitality environments.
